In the paragraph where the author explains
"Lets understand the word cascade....the speed of the algorithm"
I also remembered that the css styling used in HTML are also cascaded. CSS means Cascading stylesheets.
The two styles are written for a element, the one written later is more preferred.
The preference for a style given is
Inline style > Embeddes style > Seperate page style
So in the context of cascade being explained by the author, he tells that the cascade form a chain. Thr output of one stage is passed to the next stage and so on. Its used in situations where we have low computational power and do not want to compromise on speed of algorithm.
But in CSS, all these things may not apply. But I just remembered the Cascading Style Sheets from Cascade classifier, and thought would share a note.
